THIS WEEK’S MEMORY VERSE
The Forgotten?
Though the book of Lamentations expresses a feeling of abandonment and asks God to remember their suffering, the message is ultimately one of hope.
The book reminds us that even when we feel forgotten, we must remember God's promise in Lamentations 3:21–23: His "steadfast love... never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning." This declaration of great faithfulness assures us that the Lord has not forsaken His people, and we should not lose hope.

Using Scripture to interpret Scripture
Christmas
When the angel announced the coming of our Messiah, he especially told Mary and Jospeh to name him “Jesus." Why? Well, the Bible tells us it's because his name means “Salvation”! Christ’s incarnation is the arrival of God’s salvation in human flesh. We proclaim “Salvation is Here”, because Jesus, our Immanuel, God with us, arrived to save us from the power of sin, death, and the grave! Salvation is here … have you received it?!

1 Corinthians: Temples of Godliness Among Worldly Ruins
The book of 1 Corinthians is a call to all Christ followers to live a gospel-centered sanctified lifestyle from the moment we surrender to Christ and are given a new identity in Him. We are called to be holy temples among the worldly ruins that surround us in this fallen world. The world is fallen, because sin ruined it. However, the solution to a gospel-centered, God-honoring life is found in the person of Jesus Christ, who was crucified and raised from the dead to not only transform us, forgive us of our sins, but also give us hope for the future. Journey with us through the book of 1 Corinthians to find out what it means to live for Jesus and with Jesus!”

Majoring in the Minors
The apostles Paul once said, "for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.” If we are honest, most of us are used to the Pauline letters and other NT books … but what the Minor Prophets? It is no minor task to understand the message of the Old Testament Minor prophets, but they too are part of the “whole counsel of God.” Join us as we attempt to “Major in the Minors,” learning and growing to love the parts of Scripture least familiar to us. By the end of our “World Series” tour through some of the Minor prophets you’ll be so familiar with these books that you’ll be ready to easily score a Bible home run!
